Daniel Sheehan Honored as One of Texas’ Top Attorneys
DALLAS – Attorney Daniel Sheehan of Dallas’ Daniel Sheehan & Associates, LLP, has earned a spot among the Top 100 attorneys in Dallas/Fort Worth in the 2008 Texas Super Lawyers list in Texas Monthly magazine.
The annual Texas Super Lawyers listing includes the state’s top attorneys as determined in a statewide survey published in the October issues of Texas Monthly and Texas Super Lawyers magazines.
“It is indeed an honor to be selected by your peers as one of the top lawyers in a state with such a rich legal tradition,” says Mr. Sheehan. “I am flattered that attorneys I work with, and sometimes against, recognize the good work this firm does for its clients.”
To compile the Texas Super Lawyers list, more than 70,000 lawyers from across the state were asked to nominate attorneys they viewed as the best in the legal profession. The judging process continued with rigorous screening by a blue-ribbon panel of lawyers, and the final Super Lawyers list is made up of fewer than 5 percent of all Texas attorneys. Mr. Sheehan earned his spot among the state’s Top 100 attorneys based on his overall point score from the judging process.
The Top 100 ranking is just the latest honor for Mr. Sheehan, who has been named to the Super Lawyers list each year since its inception in 2003. In the past two years, he also has been named to Lawdragon’s listings of the 500 Leading Plaintiffs’ Lawyers in America and the 500 Leading Lawyers in America.
Mr. Sheehan is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He regularly handles trials and appeals in state and federal courts, including cases before the Supreme Court of Texas and the U.S. Supreme Court.
