M. Patrick McShan
Patrick is a native of Dallas. He began working for the firm while in law school and joined the firm full-time in 2004.
Patrick has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of commercial cases. He has considerable experience in all phases of litigation from investigation through trial and appeal. He has managed all aspects of discovery, including conducting depositions, in addition to drafting and arguing numerous evidentiary and dispositive motions. Patrick has represented clients in cases involving legal malpractice, deceptive trade practices, trademark infringement and unfair competition, negligence, breach of contract, fraud, defamation, breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, will contests, and violations of various consumer protection laws.
